UCS Schematic from Rodos . . .

A friend found this great schematic of UCS created by Rodos (Rodney Haywood gets all the credit). It is a great layout of the system. I really like to part that lays out what is going on inside the chassis.

Notice how the blade is connected to the fabric extender modules. The server sees the 2 HBA cards and the 2 – 10 G NICs and the mezzanine card (CNA) converges the Ethernet and Fiber Channel. So from the mezzanine card up to the 6120 it is using Data Center Ethernet (i.e., FC0E) where the 6120 splits them apart.
